My 99 passenger mirror was literally falling off, took it apart and actually all it needed was silicon adhesive to reattach!! Also greased remote motor gears in it while it was apart, took my son and I maybe 20 mins :watermelon:

was the mirror two sided ie smooth polish on oth sides or as the backing grey? If grey the silicone may eat that off over time.

I used to run a glass shop, I would charge $15 to replace, using windshield urethane that would not eat the backing off.

black on back, one sided, I used clear outside rated silicone
