80`s scarab glass replacement

Bought a 1983 scarab ll 26 feet twin 350`s wicked fast, needing that little piece of glass used as a vent im guessing, its part of the windshield. Glass was there when i bought boat gone when i got home.... tried cutting plexiglass but that just ended up on the highway somewhere too.... any help greatly appreciated!

look in the yellow pages under glass... make a cardboard template and they will cut you anything you need...... Sounds like you need to figure out how to keep it in place tho

Disassemble the windshield frame, cut a new piece out of Lexan, shape with a belt sander insert lexan into the frame. Drill through the frame and the glass together and rivet it into place.

Plexiglass i think snaped its weak i have lead foot the glass came out because the bracket broke that remained in the boat as the expensive peice went bybye. Thanks I'll look in the yellow pages for a company that can heat treat glass/temper treat what ever
