I have a nylon 66 that I want to get rid off in florida the question is how do you sell a gun on a open market. I have no idea where or how to sell especially if it means having the rifle shipped with in the usa. Do you pay to have a gun shop post it to another shop or ?

Glenn, most gun stores will consign it and that is your safest bet, you could also sell it at a pawn shop but I think we all know the considerations there.

Private sales are a different animal, and I do not live in FL so I hesitate giving you advice there, another way is to post it on gunbroker.com but you would need to have an FFL on hand.

Glenn, Here are the UPS guide lines for shipping firearms. I've seen firearms listed in both the local papers and "iwanna" papers here in SC.

try gunbroker.com I have sold a few there. Just bring it to an FFL and have them ship it.
