Kobo and Kindle question

I currently have a kobo e reader.Due to my clumsiness it barely works anymore so i ordered a kindle e reader with wifi and light which will be great for camp at night.Can i transfer my books from either the ereader or the kobo account to the new kindle?

If you have purchased them, then you should be able to transfer them to a new device, if they are library books you have borrowed, then no you will not be able to transfer them.

Well buggered by the postal gods again.One day shipping my a$$!I swear to god u.p.s and canada post have a pact to make sure one day shipping is a lie,Time to fire off a email to amazon and get my money back again.
