I'm about 2.... Wish I'd known sooner :)

Since you guys mentioned having equal compression across tge board.... Should I be spraying WD 40 in the cylinder before cranking a dry motor?

I ask because ... Well #1 I think WD40 breaks oil down doesn't it... So bad for the case? And #2 would having extra oil in the cylinder potentially increase compression?

I ended up buying a lowest offer with the most purchases. Beat HF by $7.

I might squirt a bit of oil in there, I never use WD40, for testing compression.

You test it dry. If you want to see if the rings are a source of compression loss, you then squirt oil in there.
