Bleachbit

Anybody use this? any opinions? I have it ( did not even know it was on my computer!) but have never used it until now....been playing around with it. Seems good for permanently shredding files. I'm keeping politics out of it.

Because of all the media attention I thought this was some hard to get proprietary software but it is FREE open source software!

I used to use a program called "Wipe". It wrote ones and zeros to ever memory address on the computer. The it would reverse and write zeros and ones to every address. And it did that four times. But it did take a long time to do that. And that is what we had to do after working on certain projects along with other destructive things. .

Yeah this (bleachbit) is slow too on large files. There are other features in this software that I like and will probably use. I have not tried it on Windows OS.
