I have the exact same year truck with the same engine, mine is at about 297,000 km now and still going strong. Its what I tow my boat with. a few small rust spots I just sand down to clean metal, prime and paint with touch up paint. ain't no professional job but she is usually so dirty nobody notices anyway.
