Test Thread For Photo Attachments

Once you're in the album, one of the photos will be HUGE, but you can scroll to the one you want:


Select the photo you want from the shared album, and you get an interface that looks like this. There is a SHARE icon at the top of the screen (see red arrow), don't select that. It doesn't seem to work for linking.


If you do select it, it does give you a link option. But I've not been able to make that work well. Instead, right click on the image and select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS and past that into the IMAGE dialogue in the iBoats editor:


And that should get you a posted image that will hold.

What Browser are you using? Chrome I assume.

I've been doing most of this in Safari on the Mac. But I've also done some testing in Chrome and Firefox.

I guess I'm not sure what the benefit is of using a third party hosting site :-/ we all keep backups on our computers right? Maybe I'm getting outdate really quickly.

Oh yeah ihave all my pic on a harddrive and on laptop but the third party allows for easy veiwing on forums, plus small forums like mine i will get charged if we get to many sored on thier servers, and the threshold is pretty low.

I updated my build thread to replace the PB photos and boy, had more than I thought! The Microsoft Office Picture Manager method gave me a hickup during the process. It doesn't seem to work well with the iphone photos I got from my wife. I ended up having to view the photo on the desktop and capturing a screen shot using the "snipping tool" (just type "snip" into cortana...aka the search bar) No resizing is needed with the snippets.

My andriod and camera photos didn't give me any issues so I'm not sure what Microsoft and Apple are doing to their products.
