search function

It used to be that I could do a search within a specific sub category (ie Mercruiser i/o) but the only search I see now is way up at the top of the page and using it only leads to frustration as it gets results from other categories that I am not interested in (ie outboards)

Oddly enough when I am in a closed sticky it often has the Search function right where I would expect it.

I just hit the seach button and it shows to search in this category and also u der advanced search the source option open a dropdown for all the forums. Not sure why you're not seeing them.

Like Joe said: make sure you don't miss the Advanced Search option in the drop down:

There should be a down arrow on the right side of the "Search" bar ... click that, and it will give you the menu above. Click on the "Advanced Search" link and you'll get all of the old detail search options.

How do we ad sig pictures? The new forum to me has me searching...
