JJ took a big hit in the standings after his tangle with Biffle and the tire issues also hurt Jr. and Keso on Sunday. Harvick managed to recover somewhat when he pitted out of sequence after suspecting a tire was going bad. Gordon and Kenseth are tied in the bump spot, 17 points behind. Logano has the lead and a free ride into the Eliminator round starting after 'Dega. BTW - JJ almost owns Charlotte and is the top ranked driver. If he pulls off a win, points don't matter.

News
  • The Twerp is getting a new crew chief next year. Gibbs is shaking up team leadership and Edwards needs a complete support crew because he will be heading up a brand new fourth team for JGR.
  • Sam Hornish Jr. is replacing Marcos Ambrose in the #9 at RPM. Ambrose is going back home to OZ to race again the V8 Supercar series for Penske.
  • Michael Waltrip is still surviving on DWTS. He's managing to stay right above the bump spot.

cjm31 was the Kansas winner and is taking the :first: this week. 64osby had a good week, he came in second, just a few points behind cjm. And he added a mess of overall points to increase his lead over FlaCowboy, now 391 behind.

I wish the Cup guys had some limits on Truck and N-Wide racing. But nascar seems to think it's OK.

I have a different spin on that. First, it is private enterprise, leave it alone. Drivers can drive for who they want, Owners can hire who they want. And, it makes it clear who the upcoming stars are. Blaney holds his own for example, Chase Elliot does. Yes, equipment matters too, but it is obvious very quickly who might be a new star. The guy who can run with the big boys....

I think Hendrick should put some R&D in shift levers. Or some new vice-grips. Wise just lost his motor.

I don't care what Joey said, he shouldn't have stuck his nose below Danica. I'm backing Danica on that one.....;) Jimmy doesn't sound too happy.......:lalala:

JJ is getting frustrated. And Larson is going for the win with 70 laps to go.

He likes to stay close to the wall. It may have bit him this time. I think he has a future and drives like KY Jelly.. er BU without the attitude.

7 to go and Vickers blows. Let's tighten it up even more. Happy and Gordo restart 1- 2.

Harvick on to next round with the win. 'Dega is going to be a dog fight and it's starting right now in the post race. LOL

Art takes the race and 64 adds to his overall lead.

Keso is mad at everyone ... Hamlin is ready to tear into someone ... tempers flaring taking the focus of Harvick ... whatever happened that caused Keso to tank it at the end enabled QC to take me. Now Kenseth is getting into it ... Saturday Night Fights!
