John B. (JB) Cornwell, beloved father, died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, in Fort Worth, Texas, after a long illness.
Born on October 24, 1935, in Moore County, John is survived by two brothers, Robert Cornwell and Donald Walter; one sister, Arden Scott; four children, John Cornwell Jr., Heidi Lagerstrom, Alice Cooper and Dania Cornwell; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
No funeral or memorial arrangements will be held, per his request.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Park Foundation.
