Been reading the Hetta Coffey series from Jinx Schwartz. Great books, very entertaining with enough factual boat knowledge to make them even more interesting. Makes me wonder if the Sea of Cortez is packed with murderous drug smugglers though. (Probably not I guess! but makes for exciting story-lines)) Anyone been cruising down there as it sounds pretty idyllic (apart from the hurricanes) and a million miles (well, about 6,000 actually) from the cold, grey waters of the UK Bristol Channel. Cheers, Peter

Don't read much. From my experience with the Sea of Cortez, you'll be in for a shock when you experience the three digit temperatures.

I don't think I'll be going even if my old Reinell could cross the Atlantic! Good boating stories though. Cheers from the UK. Peter
