Yep.. The boat was a Glastron GT-150, which is a gorgeous boat anyway. Then they made it fly.

Actually, while I think the boat chases in Live and Let Die remain the best, there were somoe pretty good boat chases in a couple of other old Bond films.

Moonraker has some pretty good boat chases in the Venice canals and Man With theGolden Gun has chases in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Tourist had a few nice boat scenes. The best boat docking scene is done by Angelina Jolie.

Bullitt gets accolades, but it never made any sense to me as to how the heavier, larger displacement charger held off the mustang in the city but gets run down on the highway.

Interesting how sometimes the sound changes to a V8.

And sometimes sounds like a sewing machine.

Definitely old school.

I like when they get to smashing together.

That Merc 50 and Merc 65 probably go as fast through those canals as the high powered boats.

Probably because MacQueen had a 10-speed transmission in the Mustang. At least that's what it sounded like.

Cuz Frank Bullit was the good guy. :) And the Charger wasn't a Hemi, but a bone stock 440 auto. The Bullit Mustang had a lot of work under skin to suspension and motor.
