ISS flew directly over our house at about 9:30 just awash in the light of the setting sun.
And the skys so clear I could'nt count the number of stars above us theres so many.

I musta' just missed them ... I was outside maybe a bit too late. Did get to see the planetary alignment with the moon this morning though (Mars and Saturn, I think).

I'll try again tonight.

Here in the mid-atlantic (PA), the clouds receded at about 8:50 pm to give us a great view of the Perseids. I watched for about 20 minutes after midnight and had 15 meteors streak across the sky.

As usual, I had cloud cover. Occasionally, it does not pay to live in New England. sigh.

Where we are there is little or no light pollution once we turn off the yard lights.
You can see the whole milky way system clearly, and even better on a cold night.
