My mom used to keep one around... until she walked into the kitchen one day to see a moving mouse's tail sticking out of it. Yeeccchhh!

I lay newspaper in the trash can and pour the grease onto that. I know damned well that one of our 2 cats would do just what yours does.

We use one of these: it called a Range Clean Fat trapper. Basically a plastic container with a disposable bag that you can dump grease into and close it up when not in use. I have a black one they also have white.

We have a cat but would't touch our grease or most cat foods for that matter!

Our grease can is bigger than our cat.

For her to get up on the stove would be like climbing a 100 story building.

Have grease tub next to sink & 5 cats... they have never touched it (so far)

Once they get that taste of bacon grease in them, theres no stopping them, UGH!!!!


At least she didn't get it on her paws and track it around the house, I hope.
