We still are plagued by "hard water" up here for another month.
But when the stars and planets all align, and we have bare ice and a decent wind....the DN gets dragged out, assembled, and taken for a spin. Last time was 3 years ago :(
Clocked at 50+ MPH yesterday over a 1/2 mile stretch, and when you are 12" off the ice it seems like a 100MPH.

And you didn't even use a drop of gas :D That is what I call a great green machine :D Looks like tons of fun. I need to put that on my bucket list of things to do :D

I agree, they do look like tons of fun. I've seen ice-boats on TV a few times and thought they wee a brilliant idea. Now that I'm "old" and not so willing to risk a few broken bones, however, I'm so not sure that I'm that brave!
