So how much gas do you use a week?

I was gonna direct this at txwinner since he seems to have gas prices on the brain, but decided not to be a troll and see how much yall use a week.<br /><br />Between wife and I we use about 25 gallons a week, but average out over the year probably 30 gallons/wk if include longer trips.<br /><br />Ken

about 18 or so....23 gallon tank, fill it once a week when it starts to touch the E, sometimes more like the full 23 if im going to and from school.

My car, about 10-12 gals a week.(92 Miata). Wifes 03 4-Runner uses about 20 gals a week.

Probably about 10-15. I could probably cut it to 5 if I really had to.

I do a lot of driving in my buisness... just did a quick average based on the mileage on my car.. since febuary i've averaged 52 gallons a week. put on 35,000 on my car since I bought it in early Feb

Unfortunately, I also drive quite a bit in my business. I avg about 50 gals a week. Daughter goes to college 150 miles away and comes home on weekends. She uses about 20 gals. Wife is 35 miles from work. 30 gals minimum. Son is luckily 4 miles from work. 10 gals.<br /><br />That's about 110 gals a week.

I use 16 gallons a week with a 15 mile commute each way to work. Our standard unleaded petrol is now A$1.30 a litre or US$3.70 a gallon! <br /><br />However Ms T uses LPG and does 335 miles a week on US$25 of gas in a 4.0L Ford Falcon! That's why all our taxis use gas.

I live in a small town so I can walk most places. Average 3 to 5 galons a week in my personal vehicles. <br />My patrol vehicle, a 2002 Dodge Durango I average 60 galons a week.

I use from 20-30 gallon per week.<br /><br />Wife uses about 20 gallons per week.<br /><br />Filled up today. $65. I got gas "cheap" for $2.89. Gas here is phila where I work is.....<br /><br />$3.89 for REGULAR.<br /><br /><br />Yes. $3.89.

I use about 20 gallons a week, seems I'm money into the tank faster then I can make it.<br /><br />I wish my Bronco would to better then 11 mpg

I have a Suburban and an Expedition. I gave up counting..<br /><br />Realistically about 20-25. Mainly because we go to the cabin every weekend. That is stopping after this weekend so the amount should decrease..

To work and errands, about 6 gallons. <br />Shopping in a small city, 5 more.<br />fishing, 3-10 more.

The mrs uses about 10 a week. My service van gets filled up about twice a week and the bucket truck once a week. That is 64 gallons of fuel for me. <br /><br />I will be busy after my boat is hauled in October. Then I will make my kit to run fryer oil in my bucket truck. Probably will use it on service calls once that is done.<br /><br />I had a vision of the oil executives sitting in a room around a table just laughing their hinneys off at us.

at least 25 gal/week maybe 30<br /><br />Every $1.00 increase costs me $100 to $125 a month...if it keeps going up we will curtail our driving...and that really pisses me off!

I guess between the wife, son and me we use about 80 gallons a week. I commute 40 miles one way and they each have about a 5 mile commute each to work and school.

Between wife and I we use 40 to 50 gallons a week.<br /><br />BTW I reset the mpg in the Town Car's "Control Center" this morning and did my usual 40 mile drive to work. Except I kept the max speed at 55 (except downhill). Car averaged 25.5 mpg. Thats a 4 mpg increase over my usual driving at 75 - 80!!! Woo Hoo! And to think I was going to trade it in on a Toyota. HA!

If I drive the 58 Chevy about 30 gallons a week ,it sucks the gas,8 miles to a gallon<br />Wifee's car about 5 gallons of free gas she pays <br />Chevy 1500 about 10 gallons<br />Hydro 50 merc 20 gallons<br />fishing boat 9.5 eviee 5 gallons maybe<br />So I use average about 30 gallons per week and a speed week would be about 50 gallons ++++

I use 15 gallons a week if I only go to and from work. But know that I am getting single, and moving closer to 25 to 30 gallons a week! I have just picked up a roller skate to cut that down, should get it this weekend (bought it from my Daughter (baby seat don't fit in it)). And I am moving 15 minutes closer to work (and girls).

I burn a minimum of 11gal/week to get to work, usually 12-13, wife used 4-5gal.
