My parents had a portable Zenith record player in a white plastic case. It had a tone arm lock and cord storage. My brother is 6 years older than me. He bought his first 45 when I was about 7 and spun it on the Zenith.
one time dad and i were coming back from a day on the lake, and it was a new lake a long way away - couple hours. So he decided to take a back way and we hit a radio station that had a few hour marathon of CTA. I was already into them, didn't think he was.
