Ya, they can chew up a lot of ammo and 7.62 is quite a bit more than .223!

Depends on the brand. I have 1/2 case of Norinco and they're very accurate... 7.62

Depends on which 7.62 you are talking about, 7.62 x 39, or 7.62 x 51, there is also some 7.62 x 45 guns out there as well. I am getting ready to build a 7.62 x 39 rifle.
