I have wanting to close in my garage for years; open joists; felt on the walls.I know that drywall has 0 insulation capability; felt seals drafts. But a very good friend of mine (almost like a brother) works for a local hotel chain. (Head carpenter). We talk weekly! He called me and said they were going to totally remodel their exercise/weight/spa room; and stripping out everything. He got me almost 600sq.ft of 2X2 drop ceiling tile; all the T rail ; hanger wire etc. Also he is going save me 8-10 2X2 drop in lights. All I had to do was come get it. A 1 trip down; 2 hours loading; 1 hour back. Definitely a P/U full. Much too HOT now; but will be a project for the Fall. P.S. It's still on the truck!
