This week Nascar is heading north to Loudon, NH for Cup and X-Men racing. Trucks will at Eldora next Wednesday for dirt racin' on Smoke's own track. Dirty Boys. LOL

Here is the MRN schedule for New Hampshire;

40 names on the entry list and weather is looking good for Friday through Sunday.

New and Notes
  • And the winner is - Shrubby. He was awarded an ESPY for Best Driver in the recent award show.
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr. is sitting out this week because of concussion symptoms after wrecking at Daytona and Michigan and not feeling right at Kentucky last week. Gotta give the guy credit!
  • Truex Jr. is not happy about penalty for the passing on the left in pits. I thought he as going to get a speeding penalty the way he was flying by on the inside.
  • 12 teams tested at Indy in preparation for the Brickyard 400...er Crown Royal presents the Wounded Warrior Coalition 400 next race weekend.
  • TV - Ratings and viewers were lower than the past two years. Still it was the highest rated race on NBCSN since Martinsville last year.

Our resident smoker, aspeck, beat the rest of the league at Kentucky for his 2nd :first: of the season. Congrats, Art.
Another swap on top of the overall leaderboard. Trackchick Stars jumped over Vertical Pedal to take the lead again.

Y'all have a little more time to work on your rosters since the race is Sunday this week. Dale Jr. is a great pick and lock to win at New Hampshire. Good luck everyone.

Nascar creates turmoil. If there is no passing on pit lane then there should be no racing to get out of the pits first.

Speeding in pit lane is from zone line to zone line, I thought it was set up to not exceed X speed averaged within the zones.

Maybe they just wanted to send Truax to the back because if they didn't he would have blown the field away.;)

Next they'll freeze the field after a caution and put everyone back in their spots b/4 the restart. That actually would make the pit area a lot safer...... Don't let NASCAR get a hold of this post.......

That would be one less graphic to show since no more 2 or 4 tire stops and the first to get to the end of pit road line becomes meaningless. No more caution pit stop drama. LOL

Not to change the subject, but I am sitting here watching Indy Car Toronto and the officials just announced, that it is okay to "affect" another driver, but to "interfere" with another driver will earn a penalty!

I am glad I am not the guy that has to make that judgement call!

Some of the NASCAR officials must be giving the Indy Car Officials a hand this weekend, I wonder, was Kelso interfering or affecting Carl last week when he won?

Shrubby won the X-Race at New Hampshire. Erik Jones was the highest finishing X-Man in 2nd place.

Don't forget Jr. is the best pick this week in Fantasy Live.

So with a Shrubby win, that takes away the opportunity for an X-men to auto advance to the Chase... Since the X-men went to a Chase format, no full time Cup guy should be able to race in that series. Just a thought...

You'll be waiting forever on this one. LOL

The one concession for Buschwhackers driving in the new X-Men Chase format is none can drive in the final race at Homestead. Gee, that's a little late.

After the competition caution, not much changed. #18 still leads after 45 laps.

Buescher spins for the 2nd yellow.

The race has 100 laps in the books and Truex is leading. Shrubby, Kseo, Busch41 and Johnson are in 2-5 place.
