My wife's daughter just called her a little while ago, to let her know her grandmother had just passed away, she is pretty torn up and could use a good thought or two if you could spare one.

Any passing of a loved one is sad. My condolences to all. Curiosity will eventually kill me but, who actually passed? Your wife's mother, wife's grandmother, wife's previous husband's mother?

Very cool that she had a good relationship with her grandmother ... those cross generation ties are getting more and more scarce. Will pray for peace and comfort for her for sure.

My wife's ex-husbands Mother, who was my wife's mother in law about 40 years ago, we have never had much to do with her nor her us, but my wife's daughter is her trusted care taker, it was not unexpected, but it is still difficult for her, but she is strong and will make it through it.
