1997 ski brendella does it have wood stringers?

Hi guys I'm looking at buying a 1997 ski brendella pro comp 200 hours tandem trailer looks like its in pristine condition for $8400. I'm trying to find out if this boat has wood stringers? I know the early 90s did. Anyone know if these boats are any good? Plans are to tube and wakeboard.

Not that this answers your question, but isn't the ski brendella a tournament slalom boat (a.k.a direct drive)? If so, it probably won't be the greatest for wake boarding as the wake will be very flat due to being optimized for slalom courses. Of course you can always add water ballast to the boat to try and create a bigger wake, but that takes up a lot of room on a boat that is limited in interior space to begin with. Just a question to think about before you dig into wood vs not.

You might try going to the mb sports boat website and email Mike Brendella and ask him. He still makes boats.
