I just traded for a mint condition 93 galaxie 135 inboard boat. I was wondering about adding a wakeboard tower or ski
pylon to help get the tow rope up higher for tubing and skiing. Any opinions would be appreciated. thanks

You don't pull tubes from a wakeboard tower, not is it preferable to ski off of one. Just install a center ski tow ring and be done with it.

For skiing, I'd definitely NOT put on a tower or pylon. The boat will perform better with tow point that is lower - it's more stable if the skier is out wide, and keeps the bow down so its faster to plane. A pylon might be more convenient for rope handling, and in with some boats keeps the tube rope from dragging in the water but generally any pylons specifically say NOT to use them to tow inflatables. Too much load when a potentially very heavy tube with riders is tied to the boat. (a skier or boarder has to let go if the loads are too great :) )
