Tow rope with outboard / outboard kicker?

I have a 17 ft. Starcraft with a 125 Merc outboard and a 9.9 kicker. I would like to pull the kids around on a tube. The boat does have transom eye bolts that I plan to hook a harness to. My concern is that my kicker motor will be in the way. My kids are young and I will not be using alot of speed and probably no "whipping" of the tube. Has any one dealt with this issue? Would it be a problem to pull a tube using just one eye (opposite the kicker) if I am not pulling the tube aggresively?

Thanks for any suggestions.

No problem at all towing from 1 eye. When I pull 2 tubes, it's one on each eye. Even with just 1 tube, I just pull from 1 eye. Skiing or knee boarding, I use a harness between the two.
