I noticed last fall/winter that the kneeboard we used all summer had a lot of water in it. I did not want it to freeze so I drilled a couple holes to let the water out. There is still water in the kneeboard. Is this normal or is it time for a new one. I only paid $50 at a garage sale.

My hydroslide gets water in it too. I have to lay it just right so it drains out of the gap where the strap is screwed into the body of the board. At least, that is where mine gets water in it. I should seal these screws.

Our kneeboard will usually drain for a day after we hang it up. Not a lot of water, but a steady drip. We picked ours up at Academy on a summer end sale.

Mine does not take on any water.
I would think that as long as it is not submarining it would be ok. I could also see where if it was filled with water it would make it more difficult to get good air off the wake
