The boating season in Wisconsin will be here soon and I would like to pull the trigger on a tower for my 03 18' glastron. The three towers I have narrowed my choices down to are:

aerial ascent:

big air ice:

Monster MTE :

All of these towers seem similar in design and price. I would like to be able ti fit a bimini under the tower. Also I need the tower to fold easy since I tow it to the lake and garage it. I hear that monster towers are super easy to fold, but I don't like the look as much as the other two. Any feedback on these towers would be appreciated.

Here is my boat:

Have you looked at the Pro X Series Tower that is supposed to be able to eve tow tubers? I have been really thinking about buying it for our boat.

DIY wake makes a good solid tower for a good cost as well. The pro series tower is what I have and am very happy with it. There are a few other on the forum that have it as well and they all say the same. The best part is that its less the $1000 and if you buy it from DIYwake.com shipping is free.

Go to the Aerial website and in their gallery is a very similar boat to yours with their assault tower on it. Looks sweet. That is the tower I have sitting in my garage that I am planning my install. I think it would look sweet.

The assault tower is nice but I think it looks too big for a boat my size.

Wow, just went to the galleries at H2O water sports and aerial wake and the white and red glasstron with the assault is gone. PM me your email address and I can send you the pic directly, as I downloaded it thinking it would look a lot like the assault on my white and red stingray.

Is it too big? My boat is 19 feet and I sure hope it is not. Freezing weather and snow are keeping me from pulling the boat out of storage and trying to go ahead and install it -- well that and lots of planning.

I just bought mine from www.lakenormanboatingstore.com and they installed it for $100.. Cant wait to use it, I think it looks the best on the boat, most others look like an add on.

The assault tower is nice but I think it looks too big for a boat my size.
I bought an assault, the lines are nice and I think it will look good on my 187 chapparal, and for $820 it included two sets of racks. I probably have to cut the tube a couple of inches to mount it forward of the windshield and get the tower forward enough not to block entry into the boat from the rear or over the side....never know, it could be the Poseidon adventure in the spring!
