Re: AERIAL wakeboard tower?

Who, you pulled up a really old thread. Why not start a new one?

Why back with wood. Ideally you would just lay in more fiberglass and thicken the area where the tower mounts. However, a quicker way to get a similar thickening agent is to epoxy wood onto the fiberglass, to help spread the load over a larger area.

Speaking of Arial towers, it looks like they changed how the feet bolt on the legs. That should really improve them, given that this is the area I have to tighten the most and where I get my creaks.

Bought an ariel assualt off of ebay (h2o) it was cheap so i took the chance. I guess i got what I payed for. It has broke 3 times. While they did honor the warrenty, I had to ship in the broken part which costed 100 dollars on shipping. The set screws are pretty much junk. I ended up just having a buddy weld all of my joints and the broken piece. just thought id write a review based off my experience.
