hey guys, i made this account to ask a question or two. i am looking to buy a boat next week and i need some advice. i'm looking at a 2005 malibu wakesetter and a 2010 mastercraft x30. can both of these wakesurf? and if not would a wakeshaper make a difference?

Ok so I'm no expert on wakeboats , but I have a friend that has owned a few and I go surfing with him almost every week.. he just sold his '97 nautique and bought a 2010 wakesetter . Yes you'll be able to surf behind both those boats... He built his own wedge that fastens with suction cups for about 35 bucks , and it makes a huge difference... I personally like the Malibu better but the Mastercraft is also a very good boat .. either way, I would recommend either building a wedge or buying one
