I have a '03 Crownline 180BW with an Aerial Tower. The clear and lower support bars were scratched when I bought the boat. Is there a way to polish the scratches out and re-clear or re-powdercoat? The damage has gone through the clear into the bars Want to leave it polished aluminum color.

Clear powder coating is acrylic so perhaps you can clean up any oxidized aluminum showing and touch it up with an acrylic spray paint or with a brush and a clear tole paint. Neither are going to look new or be as tough as the powdercoat that is on there. To recoat it you need to remove all the previous coating, then polish the finish, then reapply a new clear powdercoat.

It depends on how much you want to spend, and how much the scratches bother you. A bit of wax might make it look better but that would make it harder to use any paint as a touch up.
