1986 esport trailer for a bayliner 1410 trailer bunks

i have the trailer above and looking for info on the bunks they are not wood they are like a hard plastic....i have searched all the forums i am on and found nothing can someone help ....i would like to replace with the same type if possible thanks

ok i dont know excatly what that is i thought it might be the stuff the put on top the wood bunks to make it slide...like i said never see the stuff before ...you think that it wont slide as good as with wood or too much slide

I think that if it's the plastic lumber it isn't strong enough to properly support the boat... wood is used for a reason... polyethylene is often used on top of woof bunks but is both too flexible AND too expensive to replace the wood

pvc is sticky... doesn't slide worth a darn.


wood bunks topped with a thin layer of polyethylene (often hdpe or uhmwpe) is the cat's meow.
