Electric brake help

2005 Silverado using Teconsa brake controller I have power to unit, black wire hot, when Irun ground to blue wire I get green light on controller, when I ground red no light on controller or test , when I ground white wire no power to test no green light.
I do have power to brake light on trailer.

Are you wired correctly? Typically.....

Black = +12v Power
White = Ground
Blue = Output from Controller to Trailer Brakes.
Red = Brake Pedal, Normally Floating/Open, 12v while Braking.

You will not see a green Light until all wires are correct.
Powering Black and Grounding the Blue is not a valid test.
Blue and Red are not Grounded.

No.. The breakaway switch only works if the plunger is pulled out.

The controller activates the brakes by supplying them w power through the blue wire.
