I have a 2001 gmc towing my 94' 18 foot maxum and I want to increase support weight on the van, keep it from sagging.
More or leaf springs? Lift kit?
Any suggestions

What model GMC? Is your tongue weight around 10 percent?

There are Add-a-leaf kits, and spring overload kits available at your local part store. I've used/installed these kits on smaller trucks I've owned in the past. They're fairly inexpensive, work well, and install in an afternoon. Air shocks are another option. Back in the construction days, I drove an '81 Ford van with air assist. When we had a lot of weight on her, just pump it up! Empty? bleed 'em out!

For no more than what you are towing I would consider air shocks. Air bags are an option, but they would be a little more expensive and a little more involved in putting on than the shocks.

More info / pics would help.

I installed air bags, (Air Lift 1000's) on my old wagon. It made a huge difference in towing. If you do a standard kit it costs about $100.00 and takes a couple hours to install.
