Is AWD worth the upgrade on a new SUV?

We had zero problems with our 08' .Acadia. One thing we liked about it, was a flat folding 3rd row seat. The Tahoe/Yukon does not have that (except in 2015)
My wife still misses the Acadia.

Yes, with a live rear axle in the prev gens Tahoe/Yukon, the seats can't fold flat like in the Lincoln Navigator without the live axle for example.

Chevy, Ford and Chrysler are Truck Manufacturers that happen to make cars too.
