Hello all, I am new to boating . Found a deal I could not pass up and ended up buying a 14ft mirro craft . I believe it is their deep v model..

I am in the process of overhauling the trailer and needed advice and guidance on the bunk placement.
I am aware that many trailers hauling lightweight aluminum boats don't have the bunks at an angle supporting the boat.

is that is a problem ?? I assume it is a better option to mount the bunks at an angle to support the boat better and make loading/unloading easier.

my setup would allow me to have bunks that are not angled with the boat.. I would rather not buy different hardware if I can run this setup.

what does everyone think ??

Thank You ! -Isaac

I was thinking along those lines as well. Was looking for more of an explanation why the same boat trailers would have the bunks at an angle and some not.. just an advancement in technology/knowledge ??

Thank You for any advice that would help me decide which route to take !
