Hello all, I need some help on setting up a used trailer for a 1997 bayliner 2859. Does anyone have one that they trailer. How far apart are the bunks and how long are the bunk? Did you have bunk rest at the forward bow area as well? and a bow stop roller? I can seriously looking at getting a used triple axle trailer and making it work. Of course adding brakes as well!!
Thanks in advance for your help. Also post a pic if you have one that would be great.

lots of measuring. I got mine home on what was on the trailer and the keel rollers then jacked it up and moved the bunks to here

haven't done it yet but want to add short one on the outside in the back.

below you can see how far up my inside ones go and I also put on bunk glides.

of course this is only a 23'.

I had to move the bow stop about a foot back.

essentially just measure hull strakes from center and go from there.

Pics of boat? I would think you would want your main rear bunks directly under the stringers. Using treated 2"x6" wood.
