Axle Length

Need Help I have a 1998 Trophy Sport Fishing boat with a escort tandem trailer.I keep the boat and trailer in Mexico.The trailer was stolen but recovered.They took the axles and put some home made ones on.Can anybody tell me the length hub face to hub face so i can order new axles.Also what size wheel and tire it uses as they took them to.Thank You

If I remember the important thing besides hub face to hub face is then the distances from that to end of spindle and or back to the trailer frame center. I had found that info a few weeks ago can't find now but I'll try again

think this is what you need.

Maximum Overhang = 17.5" Minimum Overhang = 14" Overhang is the difference between the spring center and the hub face. Exceeding the maximum overhang will result in reduced axle capacity. Minimum Overhang dimensions are based on zero offset wheels and physical clearances; and are determined by suspension type, wheel and tire combination.

measure your distance from spring center to spring center... weigh the whole rig, and call your favorite trailer parts supplier on the phone wit that info.... they should be able to sell you appropriate axles, tires, and wheels based on that info
