Jon boat trailer help

I have a problem with my Jon boat and trailer and it's getting to be a real problem. I have it on a vhull 15' trailer, which is fine for the boat size wise. But, the boat being only 115 lbs just makes me nervous. I barely got it out my driveway last time before it slid off. I don't want to have it slide off my trailer going fast on the highway. I've tried ratchets, but they only help horizontally. Is there anything that I can do? I want to take my boat out but I don't want it to slide off.

Going to need a picture to have any idea what you are asking. Have you got a bow hook on it and transom straps?

It has a bow ring that I can string a rope through, but the trailer isn't high enough so it falls off
