I am needing a replacement hub for the above trailer

The hub is extremely low profile as it is only 2-3/4" long

Inner bearing is 1-1/16" (L44549 or L44649) and the outer is 3/4" (LM11949)

I have dug pretty deep on the interweb and am unable to track down a suitable hub.

It appears to be a AG style hub and what I have found they typically are 1-1/16" x 1-1/16"

Do I just buy one of those and change the outer bearing and race?photo 1.JPGphoto 2.JPG

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Looks to have a chunk out of it, but could be me eyes.

Is it a Fayette axle?

I'm with Bondo. Knock the bearings out, find the numbers and pick up a new set with races and the seal. Keep the hub, it looks OK. Also do both sides, you will be further ahead.

There is a chunk missing and it slings grease out.

The bearings are all new but the hub appears to be not available

I will look at Fayette axles/

The trailer is almost as old as me so maybe it is time to replace I have looked at used but I already own a old trailer and it appears a new one would run 3200-3700$

The boat is a 1974 Starcraft 18' SS

Thank you!

No Title

The attached sure looks like to hub and it shares the same bearing arrangement.

I found a similar but larger hub on eBay with BT-100 stamped in it.

Thank you

Was thinking it was a Fayette. That axle, with electric drum brakes, was used on Apache popup campers of that time period. Unfortunately, they are unavailable, so would have to try and source a used hub or axle.

Might be able to replace the axle if the trailer is in good shape. Would also be an opportunity to upgrade to a brake axle. Unsure of the BT-100, I don't recall seeing those markings on my Fayette axle, but if the dimensions are the same, then could work. Might have to change wheels if the bolt pattern or hub is bigger however.
