I have a 95 shorelander wit ha profile 2000 post/winch, first the lock spring is busted so I am hunting one of those down but if I can't find it I am not sure how to repace the winch as it is built into the post. Any ideas there would be great.

2nd I would like to add in a swing tounge to the trailer so I can get it in garage straight but becaue of the funky way the Profile 2000 post is set up ther is no room to get a swing arm in. Can I replace the post and winch with somethign after market that would allow me to add the swing tounge?

This is not my trailer but very close, mine has no space between the cupler and the post

Re: Shorelander Post questions

It would seem to me that if you have no space between the coupler and post, you're kinda SOL on the swing-away tongue idea.
