Hey guys.

I have an old roller trailer, lost one of the keel rollers off of it and I know I will never find another such like it. So what I am thinking on doing is buying some bolster brackets off of here and building 2 bunks. I am not sure what size to get and wondering it the 8" would be ok. My boat is a 14' aluminum with a johnson 20hp and minn kota tiller trolling motor. So I am guessing the total weight would be around 350-400lbs. What I am wondering is... I see that the bolster brackets on here come in pairs. Will two sets be enough? And I cant seem to find the U bolts for these brackets on here either.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Bolster Brackets

8" ones would be fine for your boat, I'd use three sets personally but I like overkill, just make sure they come with the swivel brackets too. U-bolts can easily be found at your local hardware store.
