19 ft.cuddy Wilker 4.3 volvo penta

Can anyone give me the approx.weight of this boat with engine,need to know for trailering purposes,buddy says class 2 hitch is fine but I wonder..p.s. pulling with a 2000 windstar 3.8.Thanks

It surely weighs more than 2,000lb., Star Baby, so a class 2 hitch is out.<br /><br />Also, I doubt that the Windstar, a FWD vehicle and unibody, is rated for over 2000lb.<br /><br />I used a Windstar to tow a 13' Boston Whaler with no problems, but that was under 1,000lb.<br /><br />I think you need a more appropraite tow vehicle.<br /><br />Good luck.

I am a little confused.Maybe the Canadian class 2 standard is different than U.S. but the installers (U-Haul) said the class 2 is good to 5000 lbs.and the previous owner had the same set-up and a Windstar as well ,he pulled it all over for years.I was just trying to find the approx weight of boat and motor to see if I am close to 5000lbs.Thanks.
