Winch nylon cable to strap problem....

The boat winch has the white nylon cable on it and its looking a little frayed. I would like to switch to a strap, but the straps are all 2" wide and the width of the winch is 1 3/4. Are there any straps made in 1-1/2 or 1-3/4 size? I didn't find any on iboats.

I see that there are steel cables available, but even galvanized, I am sure they will look pretty rusty after a while (I boat in salt water).

I would rather not replace the entire winch if not necessary.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the multiple posts, but the second link I posted has 1 1/2" 4500lb tensile strength for $1.57/foot.

Thanks for those links. Dummy me didn't think to just look for nylon strap outside of the trailer parts sites. That 1-3/4 stuff looks like the ticket.
