Shoreline trailer VIN location

Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of getting my boat/trailer registered. The boat went fine, but the DMV said that they need the trailer VIN number. I can't find it on the trailer, and I am not sure where should be looking for it.

I don't know what year the trailer is, just that it is a Shoreline tilt trailer with an 18 foot boat sitting on it.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Sorry I can't provide more information.

The Original # is probably Long Gone,.........

Either Stamp it into the tongue again, or licence it as Home Made.......
