Hope everyone has had a good summer!! Just wanted to post up a pic of my new tow vehicle...traded in the 2003 Yukon XL 2500 for a 2016 Ram 2500 Cummins Outdoorsman.

Towed the boat last weekend to the lake, towed superbly, but didn't do as well mpg as I had anticipated?! Got the camper all hooked up for a weekend in the mountains, seems to pull without any issue this far (from storage lot to the casa).

that truck wont even know the boat is behind you

regarding fuel economy, get a front end alignment..... it helps

Scott, good advice! I will get it taken care of...are you saying the Rams are known for having alignment issues, or can you see something from the pic that I'm missing?

Cheers,

3/4T Ram trucks are known for suspension and alignment issues.

not only are they known for suspension and alignment issues, the toe in is way to high from the factory to prevent wander. it scrubs tires and it scrubs off about 3 mpg. backing off the toe in will improve fuel economy

the aftermarket has a really nice steering stabilizer that helps

The Ram pulls just fine...oodles and oodles of power up Highway 24 out of the Springs (starting elevation 6,200' camped at ~10,000')
