I'm new to the boating world, and hoping to find some help ... I recently bought a 1973 O'Day Widgeon Sailboat that came on a trailer. To get it registered in my state I need a VIN (was previously registered in OH where no VIN was required). Of course it's been repainted and everything's covered up.
I have looked in what seem like the "usual" places, and uncovered 3 stickers - one a safety sticker dated 1971 (left side of frame under bow) and two Pamco stickers (one on each side right in front of the wheels) ... but no VIN. Does anyone with a Pamco trailer from the 70's know where the VIN sticker and/or stamp might be located?
