4 of the 8 bunk swivel brackets on my Karavan trailer gave up the ghost and collapsed sandwiching the bunk between the boat and tracker. I need to get them replaced but I am having a very hard time finding replacements.
Seems like Karavan used 4.5 inch wide brackets and everywhere I have looked 3.5 inch wide brackets seem the norm.
Would downgrading from 4.5 inch wide brackets for the 2x6 bunks to a 3.5 inch wide bracket be acceptable? This is for a 18 footer Maxum boat with a inboard/outboard drive.
