so I just picked up an aluminum Loadrite trailer..it has a huge thick bunk board... I want to have my boat sit as low as possible, so I can launch in the shallow unimproved ramps I often use. right now it looks like there is three settings on the brackets...but id like to ask here.... the bunk is taller than it is wide, but I want to flip it 90 degrees so it sets even lower, and I want the carpeted bunk to sit right on the crossmember....the only issue I can think of is if all the cross members(3) are on the same plane, so I anot supported by the single big through bolt, and corrosion from water sitting in the carpet against the galvanized crossmember.....it looks like for the few setting choices they utilize a small diameter cross bolt UNDER the bunk board as well as the big bolt THROUGH the bunk board
