Due to a drought here, our lake water level is very low. Last week I backed trailer too far and it dropped off
the ramp end. I had a hard time getting it out.
My question is ... is there a "skid" kit out there that can be attached to the frame of my trailer forward of
the spring shackles allowing the trailer to be dragged out without hanging up?

Easiest thing to do is tie down the boat to the trailer using the bow eye and stern tie-downs, it will lift the trailer up and over the power loader hole. You gotta get wet, though.
