I got a new project boat, a 1996 four winns 180 and had to pick it up a little over 2 hours away. It had been sitting for awhile, and I was even prepared and brought a spare and floor jack in case of a problem. Everything looked ok when i hooked it up, and even stopped for gas after 30 minutes on the road, and felt the hubs and were barely warm. I tried not to exceed 60 mph, whick was dangerous going that slow on I-77.

When I got home i had lost one rusty fender, -and the wheel on the other side looks like this below!!

I have new hubs and wheels on the way, i am hoping its just hubs, -and not a damaged spindle, but thankful i did not loose a wheel on the interstate!!

Whenever I buy something, I at least jack up each wheel and spin it just to give me a warm feeling.
